For the past 25 years, Dana has dedicated her education and career to psychology, real estate, sales, marketing and advertising. A Southern California native, Dana began her career in San Diego at a vacation rental and real estate firm while working on her undergraduate degree in Psychology at San Diego State University. Later, she obtained her Master's degree in Clinical Psychology at Pepperdine University's Orange County campus and held positions at Century 21 Beachside, Choice Hotels International, and Singer Lewak Greenbaum & Goldstein before joining PSB, Integrated Marketing (a national marketing and advertising firm) in 2000. Dana's strong foundation in psychology provides her a keen insight into people, motivation and creative challenges that ultimately revolve around consumer behavior. Marketing and advertising became the natural choice for what interested her most - using what she learned in her studies to facilitate behavioral changes in the marketplace.
Working her way up through the ranks of PSB, Dana was promoted to National Director of Client Relations in 2006, and she remained in that role until 2009. Her early experience with clients of all types and sizes helped hone her skills and set her apart as one of the company's most successful account managers. With an eye for problem solving and creative marketing campaigns, Dana excelled and clients loved her.
Under Dana's leadership, clients won in excess of 100 awards for marketing excellence, return on investment and creative concepts. She was an integral part of several large re-branding projects, assisting in all aspects from creative concepting to presentation development and comprehensive deliverables. Dana has always been a go-getter, dedicated and committed to helping her clients. She received her company's prestigious Founders Award in 2005.
Dana's nine-year career at PSB gave her more depth and experience to re-enter the real estate industry in 2009 and pursue her passion of helping people realize their dreams. Prior to joining Prudential California Realty in June of 2012, Dana worked with a local real estate firm in Dana Point for three years. She provided excellent service, negotiation skills and follow-through for her clientele of sellers and buyers of luxury Orange County real estate.
With her extensive background, Dana brought creativity, fresh ideas, expertise, an amazing work ethic and determination to her realtor sales position. She quickly became a top producer with glowing reviews and testimonials from her clients from 2009-2012. Dana has also been a top producer in 2012 - 2015 in her Monarch Beach office of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices California Properties. Dana is very proud to be part of this network of amazing real estate professionals. She is in the Top 100 of all Orange County agents for Berkshire Hathaway, has received the Five Star Realtor Award 2015-2016 and is in the Chairman's Circle for her company. Dana is also a Luxury Property Specialist in the Lux division of her company.
Dana has been a licensed real estate agent since 1997 and is a member in excellent standing of the California and National Associations of Realtors®. She also completed her coursework to become a Certified Financial Supplier (CFS) in 2006 and a Short Sale and Foreclosure Resource (SFR) in 2010. Dana is committed to ongoing training and development with a focus on luxury residential real estate, marketing, advertising, negotiation skills and leadership.
Dana lives in South Laguna Niguel, and in her very rare spare time loves practicing yoga, walking, photography, studying health & wellness, reading, and spending time with friends & family.
